Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 2026
These terms apply to all quotations, contracts and works carried out by SRN Fabrication Ltd, Unit 10, Clearwater Business Park, Frankland Rd, Swindon, SN5 8YZ.
1. Quotations
All quotations are free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotations are based on the information supplied at the time and may be revised if site conditions, specifications or steel prices materially change before order acceptance.
2. Orders
An order becomes binding once the customer confirms acceptance in writing (email is sufficient) and we acknowledge it. Any bespoke design, drawing or shop-detail issued by us remains our intellectual property until paid for in full.
3. Deposits and payment
For bespoke fabrication we typically request a deposit to cover materials. The balance is payable on completion of installation, or on collection for supply-only jobs, unless credit terms have been agreed in writing.
4. Site access and preparation
The customer is responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to site on the agreed installation date. Where site conditions prevent us from carrying out the works as quoted, additional charges may apply.
5. Standards and compliance
All fabrication is carried out in line with BS EN 1090 and current UK Building Regulations where applicable. Structural steelwork is fabricated to the drawings and specifications supplied by the customer's structural engineer.
6. Guarantee
We guarantee our fabrication and installation workmanship. The exact length of the guarantee is confirmed in writing at quotation stage and depends on the product, materials and finish specified. The guarantee excludes damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, unauthorised alteration or normal wear and tear.
7. Liability
We hold £2 million public liability insurance. Our total liability under any contract is limited to the value of that contract, save for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
8. Cancellation
Once fabrication has commenced, cancellations are subject to reimbursement of materials purchased and labour incurred.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
